| Summer festivals are here. And I'm in Denver.
I've been at the airport for about 4 hours now waiting on the band to show up. It's pretty boring, but at least I have free WIFI.
I met this couple from Finland who is in the US for the first time and I asked what they thought so far. They said that everything is huge here. Food is huge, drinks are huge, and people are huge. I agreed with them.
So far to pass my time I have eaten dinner, then I rode the airtrain thingy to every terminal and walked around, then rode it to baggage claim and now i'm sitting here on the floor next to the only power outlet I could find. Rob gave me the bus driver's number so I could call him and try to get on the bus early.. But the first call went unanswered and so I figure he may be sleeping. If he is sleeping I don't want to wake him up because he has to drive us overnight to Olathe, CO. wherever the heck that is.
So I'm just going to sit here a little while longer and people watch.

He and his wife and kids are going through some pretty tough times right now.. Please check out his story and be praying for them.

i'm traveling around doing sound for this youth conference.. This weekend i'll be in Minneapolis. Then next month I'll be in Lakeland, FL.. then houston, tulsa, dallas, LA, San Francisco, Denver.... something like that. I don't remember the exact schedule. But for the next few months I'll be doing these on weekends every now and then.. 1 or 3 a month. Then home on weekdays to hang out with my wife and dogs!
That's all I know about for now. There are some other things in the works, but nothing for sure yet. I'll let you know when I know. Unless I forget about Xanga again which is very likely.

| well.. tour is over now. and it was pretty awesome. I forgot that I was going to start a tour journal until my brother reminded me about it the other day. So I guess you guys will never get to read about the tour because now I will never write about it.

| this is my new tour journal. I probably won't update it very often though because I always forget to.
... So I am on tour right now with Copeland, Lovedrug, Lydia, and Lights. I am riding with Copeland, but actually working for all 4 bands doing sound.. It's been pretty awesome so far... Mixing 4 bands every single night is not all that much fun, but this is a fun tour and the bands, and I'm getting paid! So it's not so bad.
anyways. maybe later I'll share some stories from the past couple of weeks.. but for now I'll just start with what happened today.
Today was boring and stupid. We drove from Tucson, Arizona all the way to San Antonio, TX. 12 hours usually but for us it took about 15. The best thing that happened was me and Andrew (Copeland's bass player) watched season 2 of 30 Rock. It was nice to have a day off.. But we spent the whole day in the van so that was pretty crappy.
Tomorrow we play the White Rabbit in San Antonio. Then off to Dallas. That's all for now. I'm tired from sitting in the van all day. Isn't that weird? I'm tired from doing absolutely nothing. So I'm going to bed in this awesome handicapped room in the Courtyard Marriott.
